Rico Diversion Fish Passage and Stabilization
This project restored 1750 feet of habitat on the Salt River and replaced a failing irrigation diversion that posed a fish passage barrier and hazard to boaters. It was led by Trout Unlimited and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department with support from NRCS and the Star Valley Conservation District.
Salt River Clarks Barn Fish Passage and Habitat Restoration
This is an upcoming project that will restore one mile of habitat and replace a irrigation diversion fish passage barrier within a popular public fishing access easement. This project is being led by Trout Unlimited and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department with support from NRCS and the Star Valley Conservation District.
Salt River Narrows Meander Activation and Restoration

North Fork Tincup Creek PBR – Phase II
The second phase of North Fork Tincup Creek Process-Based Restoration will be occurring in summer 2023. This project entails is using logs and woody debris to restore 1.6 miles of stream in a backcountry setting. The project is being led by Caribou-Targhee National Forest and Trout Unlimited.
